About Jade

Jade is from our first breeding of Dauie vom Ike and Lukas vom Fuchsberg and has proven to be an exceptional representative of that pairing. A powerful, driven hunting dog with a superb disposition, Jade consistently works with focus and purpose, delivering steady, reliable performance both on land and in the water.

Over the years, Jade has distinguished herself through her hunting ability, testing performance, structure, coat, and temperament. She is a confident, dependable hunting companion with the ability to switch from intense drive in the field to a calm, stable presence at home. Her combination of performance and breed type represents exactly what we strive for in our Deutsch Drahthaars at Vom Ike Kennel.

Jade has also proven herself as a producer. In 2025, she produced our S litter, a particularly strong and consistent group of pups that have demonstrated promising pointing and tracking instincts, natural ability in the recovery of wounded game, quality coats, and strong conformation. Their early development has been an exciting reflection of the qualities Jade brings to our breeding program.

Jade is the kind of dog we are proud to have representing Vom Ike Kennel—a proven hunting dog, accomplished performer, exceptional companion, and quality producer.
